Dr. Laura Arens-Fuerstein, a psychoanalyst and couples therapist for 35 years, is also a published author and popular speaker. She earned her doctorate at New York University. Her book, My Mother, My Mirror, inspires women to explore the mother-daughter relationship and learn how to gain a more accurate self-image. She has been a guest on numerous radio programs such as CBS-AM, and on national television, including FOX and CNN. As a speaker for varied audiences at professional conferences, libraries, parenting and women’s groups, community centers, synagogues and churches, Dr. Arens-Fuerstein discusses how our views of ourselves and communication styles influence our interactions.
